Hong Kong's First Medal in the 15th Doha Asian Games

Following the reaping of the first medal of the Men's Table Tennis Team in the 15th Doha Asian Games, Yu Wei Li captured a bronze medal in the Weightlifting in Women's – below 53 kg category. This is also Hong Kong's first medal in Weightlifting event in Asian Games history. In Swimming, Wong Kai Wai set a personal best record in Men's 200 metres Butterfly stroke in 2 minutes 4.99 seconds. In this evening, the Hong Kong Women's team consisting of Tsai Hiu Wai Sherry, Suen Ka Yi, Sze Hang Yu and Hannah Wilson came in fourth place in Women's 4 x 100m Medley Relay with a new record of 4 minutes 14.58 seconds. Sherry Tsai also broke her own record in Women's 100m backstroke with a new time of 1 minute 2.74 seconds in the relay.
