90 Young Athletes Olympic Tour -- Talented Young Hong Kong Athletes Beijing Olympics Exchange Tour Open for enrolment now

In commemoration of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 10th Anniversary of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the 90th Anniversary of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOCHK”), the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (“SF&OC”) and the Hong Kong Olympians and Meritorious Athletes’ Commission will organize the “90 Young Athletes Olympic Tour (“The Tour”) - Talented Young Hong Kong Athletes Beijing Olympics Exchange Tour” from 5 to 9 April 2007, with the sole sponsorship by BOCHK. Application for the Tour is now invited (7 February 2007). This is the first time SF&OC organises the official large-scaled Beijing Olympic exchange tour for the young athletes.

Providing the talented young Hong Kong athletes with invaluable learning opportunities of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and exchange with the national team athletes, the Tour will pay visits to the Olympic and national team training venues, as well as arranging sharing session with national team athletes.
Candidates should be young athletes aged 20 or below practising an Olympic summer sport event. They may apply through their respective National Sports Associations (“NSAs”). SF&OC and Hong Kong Olympians and Meritorious Athletes’ Commission will select 90 young athletes from those applicants nominated by the NSAs for the Tour. Deadline for application is 28 February 2007.
