2007 Olympic Day Run Open for enrollment now

Under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee, the annual spectacular sports event, 2007 Olympic Day Run (ODR) is scheduled to be held on 24 June 2007 (Sunday) at 8:30a.m. at Wanchai Sports Ground.

The ODR is organized by Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), solely sponsored by Samsung Electronic H.K. Co., Ltd., subvented by Leisure & Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and co-organized by Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association (HKAAA). Started at Wanchai Sports Ground, all runners will pass through the prestigious landmark including Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre and Golden Bauhinia Square.
The theme of this year’s Run is “Activate your Sports Potential” aiming to advocating a sporting lifestyle to Hong Kong citizens, thus leading to their overall well-being. It is expected that around 3,000 participants will take part in the ODR and the atmosphere will be very mirthful.
The ODR now opens for enrollment for individual of all ages and corporate teams. Parents and kids are welcomed to join and enjoy a family day as well as to cultivate a sporting lifestyle for the children. For registration, please get the Entry Form at the Secretariat of SF&OC, HKAAA or 18 Districts Offices of LCSD, or download it at the website of SF&OC (www.hkolympic.org).
