To further reinforce the message of “Sport for All”, we have invited few local celebrities to have casual gatherings with the media and share their passion for sports, health tips and interesting episode of their healthy and leisure lifestyles.
The Bank of China (Hong Kong) 50th Festival of Sport (FOS) is coming to an end. We are most honourable to invite The Hon. Mrs. Rita FAN, GBS, JP, President of Legislative Council as our guest. During the interview, Mrs. FAN told us that when she was still in secondary school, she was one of the team members in the school table tennis, basketball and volleyball team. Although she was heavily engaged by the works in the Legislative Council now, she would endeavour to spare some time for swimming in the beach during summertime. She expressed that in general, the citizens performed very little exercise and their common reason was due to the lack of time. However, she thought that this was just as excuse. She point out that every citizen should realize the importance of exercise. She further added that if the citizens were well discipline, they would be able to allocate their time to participate in the sport activities.
