XLVII Festival of Sport Opening Ceremony – Complimentary Admission Tickets

The Festival of Sport is an annual sporting spectacular organized by the Federation and supported by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), aiming to educate the public about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and to boost community spirit through sporting competition. To add colour to the event, the Federation specially organizes a grand Opening Ceremony with various performances highlighting the elements of sport, art and entertainment.

Free admission tickets for the Opening Ceremony and programme booklets are obtainable from 18 Districts Offices of the LCSD starting from 23 February 2004 on first-come-first-served basis.

The details of the Opening Ceremony are: -

Date: 28 March 2004 (Sunday)
Time: 1530-1730
Venue: Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Arena
Performances: Marching Band, Dragon & Lion Dance, Witch-Doctor Line Dance,
YMCA Line Dance, General Gymnastics, Artistic Gymnastics
and X-Game Performances
(Programme subject to change without prior notice)

* Festival of Sport Ambassador – Boy'z will also appear in the Opening Ceremony!
