Presentation Ceremony of Commemorative Plaques to Honour Roll in 2008

In recognition of the significant contribution of the sports fraternity in Hong Kong, the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China held the Presentation Ceremony of Commemorative Plaques to Honour Roll in 2008 today (10 October 2008). The ceremony was officiated by Mrs. Vivien Fung, JP, Vice-President of the Federation.

A total of 11 sports fraternity were on the HKSAR Government Honour Roll this year, in which one was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star and one was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star; two for Bronze Bauhinia Star; three for Medal of Honour and three for Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service, while one sports leader was appointed as Justice of the Peace.
