Hong Kong, China Delegation Return from the Bangkok 1st Asian Martial Arts Games

All competitions in the 1st Asian Martial Arts Games were successfully completed in Bangkok on 8 August 2009. In the last day of competition, Ms. CHAN Ka Man in the Karatedo 61kg and below event added a Silver medal for Hong Kong, China. The main party which consists of Wushu and Karatedo athletes will leave Bangkok and arrive Hong Kong tomorrow afternoon.

Hong Kong, China Delegation comprising 23 athletes have competed in 5 sports, namely Judo, Karatedo, Muay, Taekwondo and Wushu (Duilian and Sanshou). The Delegation attained a total of two Silvers, three Bronzes and ranked 24th in the overall medal tally, as listed below:-
