The Flag Presentation Ceremony for the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the Vietnam 3rd Asian Indoor Games had concluded successfully

The Flag Presentation Ceremony for the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the Vietnam 3rd Asian Indoor Games (3rd AIG) had concluded successfully at Gallery 1-3, Hong Kong Central Library on 28 September 2009.

Witnessed by our prestigious guests, Mr. TSANG Tak-sing, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs as the Officiating Guest of the Ceremony presented the HKSAR flag to The Hon. Timothy FOK, GBS, JP, President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (the Federation) and Mr. Karl KWOK, Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the 3rd AIG.
The 3rd AIG will be held from 30 October to 8 November 2009 concurrently in Hanoi and HoChiMinh City of Vietnam. After a conscientious selection process, 78 athletes would represent Hong Kong, China to take part in 12 out of 21 official sports namely, Indoor Archery, Indoor Athletics, Billiard Sports, Bowling, Women’s Defence – Boxing, Chess-Xiangqi, DanceSport, Dragon & Lion Dance, Martial Arts - Muay, 25m Short Course Swimming, Shuttlecock and Women’s Defence – Wushu (Duilian & Sanshou). Before the conclusion of the Flag Presentation Ceremony, all guests pledged the Delegation a great success in the 3rd AIG.
Lastly, the Federation would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the support from the Home Affairs Bureau, Official Sportswear Sponsor of Hong Kong, China Delegation - adidas Hong Kong Limited and the community.
