Hong Kong Team won three Gold Medals!

The Hong Kong, China Delegation to the Vietnam 3rd Asian Indoor Games won three Gold Medals today (4 November 2009).

Hong Kong Swimming athletes, won a total of two Gold, two Silver and two Bronze in the first day of the swimming competition (4 November 2009). Ms. KONG Yvette Man-Yi won the first Gold in Women’s 100m Breaststroke with a new Hong Kong record (1:06.90). The Women’s 4x50m Medley Relay Team (TSAI Hiu Wai Sherry / KONG Yvette Man-Yi / SZE Hang Yu / YU Wai Ting) won the second Gold in the same evening and broke the Games Record.

Down in Ho Chi Minh City the Dragon Dance Team has also won a Gold in the Compulsory Exercise. That brought Hong Kong currently ranked the 10th in the Medal tally with a total of three Gold, three Silver and four Bronze Medals.
