The HKSAR Flag flying high in the Olympic Village

To signify Hong Kong, China Delegation’s third participation in the Olympic Winter Games, the Team Welcome Ceremony of the Hong Kong, China Delegation was held in the Vancouver Olympic Village Plaza this morning at 11:00 (11 February 2010, Vancouver Time).

Village Mayor of Vancouver, Ms. Tricia SMITH, President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee member, The Hon. Timothy T. T. FOK, GBS, JP along with Elected Offices of the Federation and the Delegation members have made their presence in the Ceremony.
With Mr. Tony YUE, MH, JP as Chef de Mission of the Delegation, Short Track Speed Skater Ms. HAN Yueshuang will be the athlete representing Hong Kong for the second time after 2006 in Torino to compete the Olympic Winter Games. The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games will be held from 12 to 28 February 2010 in Vancouver, Canada with over 80 National Olympic Committees participating in the Games.
