Flag Presentation Ceremony for the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games announced the ever largest contingent for multi-sports Games

The 16th Asian Games (AG) is going to be held in Guangzhou from 12 to 27 November 2010. Hong Kong will be sending the ever largest contingent to the multi-sports Games, with a total of 395 athletes and 152 team officials, to participate in 34 sports and 43 disciplines as per Appendix.

The Federation is most grateful for the continuous support from the HKSAR Government, with the presence of Chief Executive, The Hon. Donald TSANG, GBM in the Flag Presentation Ceremony today (8 October 2010), presenting the HKSAR flag to The Hon. Timothy T. T. FOK, GBS, JP, President of the Sport Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and Chef de Mission of Hong Kong, China Delegation, Ms. Vivien C.C. LAU, JP, at the Hong Kong Stadium. Other distinguished guests, included Mr. TSANG Tak-sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs, Mrs. FUNG CHING Suk Yee, JP, Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, representatives from the Government and National Sports Associations also made their presence to witness the Ceremony and give their blessings to the Delegation.
