SF&OC submits views on the Government's Sports Policy Review consultation document

Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China has submitted their views on the Government's consultation document "Towards a More Sporting Future", issued by the Sports Policy Review Team of the Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) in May 2002.

The report - "Progressive Steps Into a New Sporting Future", was carefully prepared and thoroughly compiled by the Federation after conducting a series of consultation forums to collect views from its member associations. Individual member associations had also provided written opinions.
The current review exercise could have far-reaching implications on the development of sports and other related areas in the SAR, and is of wide public interest and concern.
The report was submitted to the HAB on 31 July 2002, while copies of it have been distributed to the media, member associations and other related government departments.
