Dinner Reception with the Olympic Family

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President, Count Jacques Rogge has attended the Dinner Reception with the Olympic Family at Conrad Hotel in the evening and exchanged views on various subjects with representatives from National Sports Associations and government officials.

Ms. Karen Mok, Ambassador of the Friends of Olympics, introduced by the masters of ceremony, Mr. Marco Fu, the Hong Kong Number 1 Snooker Player and Ms. Pang Ching, DJ of RTHK, welcomed Count Rogge in English and French. The Inauguration Ceremony of the Friends of Olympics was then held when diplomas were presented to the members of the Friends of Olympics by the Hon. Timothy T. T. Fok, President of the SF&OC.
During the banquet, Count Rogge has exchanged views on various subjects with representatives from National Sports Associations, 2009 East Asian Games Planning Committee, government officials and commercial sectors.
