The Flag Raising Ceremony of the Hong Kong, China Delegations to the 4th Macao East Asian Games (EAG) was held today (27 Sept) in the Macao Stadium with the attendance of about 30 members from the Hong Kong Delegation. We have great pleasure to have The Hon. Timothy FOK, GBS, JP, President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, Mr. PAU Ma-chong, Consultative Council Member of the Macau 4th EAG, and Mrs. Vivien FUNG, JP, Chef de Mission of the 4th EAG as officiating guests.

The 4th Macao EAG will be held from 29 October 2005 – 6 November 2005. The Hong Kong Delegation with a total of 167 athletes will participate in 14 sports namely Aquatics, Athletics, Basketball, DanceSport, Dragon Boat, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Karatedo, Rowing, Shooting, Tenpin Bowling, Tennis and Wushu. The Dragonboat and Basketball will be the first two events of the Hong Kong Team to be started on 29 October 2005. We wish the Hong Kong Team to strive for good achievements in the Games.
