After the Prize Presentation Ceremony, the 3rd In-house Seminar of the School Sports Education Programme – Olympism and 2009 East Asian Games was held in the same venue. A total of 100 students have made appearance at the Olympic House, the landmark of Hong Kong Olympic Movement. The climax of the In-house Seminar was the sharing session by Olympic Silver Medalist, table tennis players LI Ching, KO Lai Chak and promising young rower YUNG Ka Yan when participating students were all excited to meet with their sports heros face to face. By sharing the top athletes’ experience of striving for excellence, all participating students were all greatly encouraged.
By organizing these two Olympism educational programmes, the Federation intends to cultivate a sports culture among our youngsters thus contributing to their overall well-being of the society.
