The Federation organized the Media Luncheon today (18 January 2006) for the members of sports media by offering them the opportunity to understand the system of voting whilst taking this chance also to vote for their favourite athletes and team. Their knowledge of sport in Hong Kong and their support and vote definitely give added credibility and value to the Awards.
A total number of over 30,000 votes were received by this morning. It was encouraging that the number of votes is nearly 6,000 more than last year. It certainly reflects the community's support towards sports in Hong Kong.
Support from the public and sports reporters play an important role in the voting for the best athletes and team in the Awards. Show your support and vote for your favourite athletes now!
