A delegation of 24 young athletes aged between 12 and 15 was selected to represent Hong Kong to participate in the volleyball event of this Games. In the competitions on 27 August 2006, the Boys' Volleyball Team defected Jerusalem with the results of 25:16 and 25:15 and advanced to the semifinals. However, our Team stopped at the semi-final as they were defected 0:2 by Bangkok. The Boys' Team placed 4th out of 7 Teams while the Girls' Team was knocked out in the first round of the first two-day competitions.
