Sending Off of the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the 15th Doha Asian Games

The 15th Doha Asian Games will be held from 1 to 15 December 2006 in Doha, Qatar. Through the meticulous selection process, there are a total of 281 athletes participating in 28 Sports namely: Aquatics, Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Billiards, Bodybuilding, Bowling, Canoe, Cycling, Equestrian, Fencing, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Karatedo, Rowing, Rugby, Sailing (Windsurfing), Shooting, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis, Triathlon, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wushu.

Led by The Hon. Timothy FOK, GBS, JP, President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, Mrs. Vivien FUNG, JP, Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong Delegation, and Mr. Ronnie WONG, JP, Deputy Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong, China Delegation, the team had departed for the 15th Doha Asian Games today.
To further promote the Games to general public, the Federation has established webpage in our official website to introduce the Games and the Delegation.
