XLVI Festival of Sport Closing Ceremony Cum Stars Cup Table Tennis Invitation Tournament cum Parent-kid Competition

The XLVI Festival of Sport (FOS) was concluded gloriously in conjunction with the Stars Cup Table Tennis Invitation Tournament cum Parent-kid Competition by the Hong Kong Table Tennis Association (HKTTA), on Sunday, 15 June 2003 at Wai Tsuen Sports Centre.
The Hon. Timothy T. T. Fok, President of the Federation; Mr. Alan Siu Yu Bun, Deputy Director (Leisure Services), Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD); Mr. Pang Chung, Hon. Secretary General of the Federation; Mr. Tony Yue, Chairman of the HKTTA; and the members of the XLVI FOS Organizing Committee were present as the officiating guests of the event.
Apart from the various competitions that were held before the Closing Ceremony, the Federation specially arranged a ¡§Table Tennis Fun Day¡¨ for parents and their kids to experience the thrill of playing table tennis. During the Ceremony, a fantasy table tennis competition by the Hong Kong National Team (Athletes were LAU Sui Fei and SONG Ah Sim) and the winner of Parent-kid group was taking place, which was a high standard table tennis match to watch. In addition, in celebration of Father¡¦s Day, Mr. Pang Chung, Hon. Secretary General of the Federation had presented a special prize --- ¡§Most-alike Father and Child Prize¡¨ to the pair of father and child who look most alike.
In the same occasion, the Hon. Timothy T. T. Fok, President of the Federation and the Chairman of the XLVI FOS Organizing Committee presented souvenirs to Mr. Alan Siu Yu Bun, Deputy Director (Leisure Services), LCSD; Mr. Tony Yue, Chairman of HKTTA; and the members of the Organizing Committee in appreciation of their support for the Festival of Sport.
The XLVI FOS was concluded successfully after the Hon. Timothy T. T. Fok, President of the Federation declared its closed.
