XLVI Festival of Sport - Admission tickets are availiable now

Organized by the Federation, supported by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the annual sporting spectacular, "XLVI Festival of Sport" will be held glamorously. With the support from 71 Member Associations to organize different sports events, citizens can participate in the events that are free of charge, in order to manifest the spirit of sharing the joy with public. This year, there are total 60 Member Associations organizing over 70 events in Hong Kong. Citizens are invited to take part.

To enhance the event, the Federation specially organizes a grand Opening Ceremony on 2 March 2003 (Sunday) at 3:00 p.m. in the Arena of the Queen Elizabeth Stadium located in Wanchai. The Ceremony will be colored by various performances with the elements of sports, arts and entertainment, also the President, the Hon. Timothy Fok and the representative from the LCSD will kindly attend to officiate the event.

Free tickets of the Opening Ceremony and programme booklets are obtainable from the 18 Districts Offices of the LCSD start from 13 February 2003.
