Hong Kong's WONG Wing-ki grabbed a bronze medal in Boy's Singles of the Asia Youth U19 Badminton Championships 2008 at Malaysia, while his team-mates CHAN Tsz-ka and TSE Ying-suet clinched a bronze medal in Girl's Doubles. Moreover, Hong Kong added another bronze medal in Mixed Team event.
