Asian Youth Sport Climbing Championship

The Asian Youth Sport Climbing Championship will first be held in Hong Kong on 3 December and 4 December, at YMCA King's Park Centenary Centre. Over 120 young climbers from China, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, India, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, Australia and Hong Kong, divided into youth (born in 1986 and 1987), adolescent A (born in 1988 and 1989) and adolescent B (born in 1990 and 1991) will compete in “lead” and “Speed” games. Among them are top climbers in international competitions. To add a mirthful touch to the competition, the Hong Kong Mountaineering Union has invited Sichuan Opera’s Changing Facial Mask Group, together with other dancing and acrobatics performers and bands to entertain the spectators on the prize presentation day (4 December).
