Buler Squash Challenge Cup 2006 will be played from 7 to 12 February at Hong Kong Squash Centre. This competition is recognized by both the Women's International Squash Players Association and Professional Squash Association, with a prize of $160,000 Hong Kong Dollars. Nineteen local players will participate in the competition, among them are Asian Game Gold Medallist Rebecca Chiu Wing-Yin and title defender Wong Wai-Hang. According to International ranking, five players will automatically enter the main draw. Top players from Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Pakistan and Malaysia will compete for the trophy as well as points for standings. Team members winning last year's World Junior Women's Championship, including Au Wing-Gee, Chan Ho-Ling, Chiu Ka-Kei and Leung Sin-Nga will play in the qualifying round for a place in the main draw.
