The International Olympic Committee Olympic Solidarity - 3rd Sport Administrators Programme

Sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee Olympic Solidarity, organized by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), with the support of the Equestrian Events (Hong Kong) of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad Co. Ltd. and 2009 East Asian Games (Hong Kong) Ltd., the 3rd Hong Kong Sport Administrators Programme was successfully held from 18 to 20 January 2007 in Olympic House in the theme of “Organization of an International Multi-Sports Games”.

The Closing Ceremony was held on 20 January 2007 with a total of 42 participants attained certificate of this programme. The full list of graduated participants is at Appendix I.

Apart from an introductory lecture offered by Mr. Pang Chung, the course co-ordinator, an experienced games organizer, Mr. Louis Louis, was invited to offer lectures comprehensively covering knowledge on games organization and share with all participants his valuable on-the-job experience. Through the lecture, experience sharing and forum discussion sessions in this 3-day programme, it is aimed to equip participants with necessary vision, knowledge to deal with the organization of International Multi-Sports Games going to be held in Hong Kong.
