The Hong Kong Tennis
Association (HKTA) is a non-profit making organization recognized by the
International Tennis Federation and the Asian Tennis Federation. The Association
is guided by a Council; and there are a number of specialized Committees that
oversee particular aspects of the work of the Association.
Our Mission

To promote tennis to all through the HKTA in collaboration with other
tennis and government bodies

To set and maintain the standards of the game to an international level
and to nurture talented local players to compete in regional and international
tournaments

To raise the standards of tennis by organizing local, regional and
international competitions
There are currently
41 member clubs affiliated with the HKTA and more than 3,000 individual members.
The HKTA organizes a number of local and international tennis events as well as
junior and elite development programs, corporate training scheme, coaching
certification courses, Tennis-For-All training scheme, and a mini-tennis
initiative for young children, to name but a few.
Tennis-For-All
Training Scheme
Under the
Tennis-For-All Training Scheme, training courses suitable for all ages and
levels of ability are offered every two months in various districts at an hourly
rate starting from HK$58. Participants can learn tennis drills and technique,
competition tactics, fitness and warm-ups knowledge, etc. in the courses.

Member of the HKTA
can enjoy a number of benefits including:

Membership fees for
adults are HK$250 and for junior member HK$150 per annum.
League Tennis
To allow more
opportunities for competitions, the HKTA organizes league tennis for the
subscribed HKTA member clubs, corporate patrons and other registered sports
clubs, associations/organizations with adequate tennis playing facilities.
There are ladies’ and men’s doubles competitions in the summer and winter league
seasons.
Tournaments
The HKTA organizes
local and international tournaments, such as the Hong Kong Open Junior
Championships, Hong Kong National Tennis Championship, and the Davis Cup, for
players of different levels; and selects players to represent Hong Kong in major
games and competitions.
