Procter & Gamble Announces its sponsorship for Moms of 2 Hong Kong athletes targeting at London 2012 Olympic Games under the ‘Thank You Mom’ Campaign

April 24, 2012 – Procter & Gamble, the company behind brands like Pampers, Whisper, Pantene, Rejoice, VS Sassoon, Olay, Oral B and Gillette would collaborate with the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) on launching the ‘Thank You Mom’ Campaign in Hong Kong today by contributing sponsorship for 2 Hong Kong athletes targeting at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

P&G will support moms of potential Olympians in Hong Kong in collaboration with SF&OC and two athletes, Mr. SHEK Wai Hung(Hong Kong gymnastics athlete) and Ms. SZE Hang Yu(Hong Kong swimming athlete), who will act as ambassadors of P&G’s “Thank You Mom” Campaign; and sponsoring their mothers’ flights to attend the London 2012 Olympic Games to witness their son/daughter in competitions as practicable as possible. For the next decade P&G and the IOC will create the most far-reaching partnership of the Olympic Games to touch and improve lives. P&G will sponsor the next five Olympic Games including London 2012 Olympic Games, Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, Rio 2016 Olympic Games, as well as the 2018 Olympic Winter Games and 2020 Olympic Games.

P&G will also be supporting two athletes in Hong Kong, who will be fully integrated across numerous marketing channels including advertising, public relations, in-store merchandising, mobile, digital and direct mail.
