With the subvention from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the Federation’s “Sports Education on Olympism Programme” (SEOP) for the Community had organized 100 talks successfully last year and received enthusiastic responses from different parties.
The programme would be continued from April 2011 to March 2012 in expectation of more participants from local schools and community would take part to enrich the content of liberal studies in the school curriculum or to enhance diversity in community activities, so as to understand the significance of sport, learn about Olympism and have a better idea on the development of Hong Kong Sports.
Your esteemed organization is cordially invited to participate in SEOP which is free of charge. The duration of the talk normally lasts for 1.5 hours. The number of audience is preferred to be 50 persons or above for each talk. Participating organizations are requested to provide the venue and basic computer equipment. The Federation will arrange local serving or retired athletes to deliver the talks, to explain Olympism, share their experiences and passion of sports with the participants.
All schools and community organizations are welcome to participate in this programme. You may download the enrolment form in this website, and fax the completed form to the Federation (Fax no.: 2891 3657) at least one month before the proposed event date for processing. The Programme will last until 31st March 2012.
