With the financial support from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Federation’s “Sports Education on Olympism Programme for the Community” (SEOP) was organized successfully last year and had received positive acclaims from schools and community organizations. The programme would continue from now until March 2015. This programme would provide substantial and interesting information for schools and community organizations, offers a diversify community programme to allow their members to understand the importance of sports, at the same time to encourage the public to learn about Olympism and the development of Hong Kong Sport.
Schools and organizations are cordially invited to participate in the SEOP which is free of charge, while the duration of the talk normally lasts not more than 2 hours. The number of participants is preferred to be 100 persons and 50 persons or above for schools and community organizations respectively. Schools and organizations are requested to provide the venue and basic computer equipment. Local serving or retired athlete would be arranged by the Federation to be the speaker and share their sporting experience with the participants.

While the 2nd Youth Olympic Games would be hosted at Nanjing, China in August 2014, the 17th Asian Games would be held at Incheon, Korea in September 2014, athletes from different sports disciplines would be representing Hong Kong, China in these two multi-sports Games. This would be a good opportunity for the public to learn about the latest sports development in Hong Kong!
