2) Asian Games Committee

Core Duties:
To handle the appeal and selection of Hong Kong, China Delegation to Asian Games and related multi-sports Games

 

3) Hong Kong Olympic Academy

Chairman: Mr. PANG Chung
Director of Studies: Prof. LEUNG Mee Lee
Hon. Secretary: Ms. Vivien C. C. LAU

Core Duties:
1. To formulate the policy in planning and organizing the Olympic courses in Hong Kong; and
2. To assess and nominate the candidates of Hong Kong NOC to attend the appropriate courses organized by the International Olympic Committee and other related sports organizations.

 

4) Women and Sport Committee

Chairperson: Ms. Vivien C.C. LAU
Vice-Chairperson: Prof. LEUNG Mee Lee
Hon. Secretary : Miss HON Sze Sze

Core Duties:
1. To formulate the overall strategic plan in arousing public interest for women to participate in sport; and
2. To publicize the achievements of women athletes in international sports competitions to the local citizens.

 

5) Incentive Awards Committee

Chairman: Mr. Tony K.L. YUE
Vice-Chairman: Mr. T. Brian STEVENSON

Core Duties:
1. To formulate the overall management plan in granting the Incentive Awards to the meritorious and the young athletes of the National Sports Associations affiliated to SF&OC; and
2. To organize the actual awards presentation ceremony at least once a year.

 

6) Administration & Personnel Committee

Chairman: Mr. Victor C.F. HUI
Vice-Chairman: Mr. PANG Chung

Core Duties:
1. To formulate overall strategic plan in the human resources management of the Federation; and
2. To conduct recruitment exercises in sourcing appropriate staff members to serve in the Secretariat, MCOHL Office, HKACEP Office and HKADC Office of the Federation.

 

7) Athletes Committee

Chairmen: Mr. CHAN King Yin
Vice Chairman: Mr. TONG Wai Lun
Hon Secretary: Mr. Ronnie M.C.WONG

Core Duties:
1. To formulate overall strategic plan in planning the welfare of the Hong Kong meritorious athletes; and
2. To arouse activities and events in order to arouse the public awareness of the well-beings of the retired meritorious athletes.

 

8) Membership Eligibility Vetting Committee

Chairman: Mr. Timothy T.T. FOK
Hon Secretary: Prof. LEUNG Mee Lee

Core Duties:
1. To formulate overall strategic plan in vetting the membership of the applicant organizations for the endorsement of the Council Meeting; and
2. To check and vet on a half-year basis the in-coming correspondence of membership applications or membership upgrading.

 

9) Youth Committee

Chairman: Mr. Kenneth K.K. FOK
Vice Chairman: Mr. Tony K. L. YUE

Core Duties:
1. To formulate overall strategic plan in planning the future development of the Hong Kong youth athletes and the promotion of Olympic values of youth training; and
2. To organize activities and events in order to arouse the public awareness of the well-beings of the young meritorious athletes.

 

10) Investment Committee

Chairman: Mr. Timothy T.T. FOK
Vice-Chairman: Mr. Derrick L.W. WONG

Core Duties:
1. To formulate overall strategic plan of the Federation investment for the approval of the Council Members according to the stipulated procedures; and
2. To explore possible investment opportunities for the Federation.

 

11) Constitution Review Committee

Chairman: Mr. Timothy T.T. FOK
Vice-Chairman: Mr. PANG Chung
Hon. Secretary: Prof. LEUNG Mee Lee

Core Duties:
1. To periodically review the Constitution, Rules and By-laws of the Federation and to recommend appropriate amendments for the consideration and approval of the Council members; and
2. To monitor the administrative procedures in carrying out the amendments.

 

12) Hong Kong Sports Stars Awards Organizing Committee

Chairperson: Ms. Vivien C.C. LAU
Vice Chairman: Mr. Karl C. KWOK

Core Duties:
1. To formulate the strategic plan in deciding the awards details and regulations; and
2. To oversee the actual implementation of the awards presentation.

 

13) Festival of Sport Organizing Committee

Chairman: Mr. Karl C. KWOK
Vice-Chairman: Mr. PUI Kwan Kay
Hon. Secretary: Mr. Ronnie M.C. WONG

Core Duties:
1. To formulate the strategic plan in organizing the annual Festival of Sport;
2. To decide on the allocation of funding to all applicant NSA; and
3. To oversee the actual implementation of the festival events.

 

14) Olympic Day cum Olympic Day Run Organizing Committee

Chairman: Mr. Tony K. L. YUE
Vice-Chairman: Mr. T. Brian STEVENSON

Core Duties:
1. To formulate the strategic plan in organizing the annual Olympic Day cum Olympic Day Run;
2. To oversee the actual implementation of the programme of Olympic Day cum Olympic Day Run.

 

15) Hong Kong Anti-Doping Committee

Chairman: Prof. Frank H.K. FU

Core Duties:
1. To plan and implement the Anti-Doping Programme in Hong Kong; and
2. To oversee the evolution and improvement of anti-doping policy and rules applicable to HKADC and SF&OC.

 

16) Committee of the Hong Kong Athletes Career and Education Programme

Chairman: Mr. Victor C.F. HUI
Vice-Chairman: Mr. Ronnie M. C. WONG

Core Duties:
1. To formulate policy in providing career, education and life skills to the retired athletes with the support of the Government, commercial sector and sports sector; and
2. To monitor the implementation of the plans approved by the Committee through the Office of HKACEP.

 

17) Board of Directors and Management Committee of Management Company of Olympic House Limited

Core Duties:
1. To advise the MCOHL on the formulation of policies to operate, manage and maintain the Olympic House as a prestigious building for the promotion and administration of sports in Hong Kong;
2. To advise MCOHL on proper spending of the Government subvention in the operation of Olympic House;
3. To work closely with National Sports Associations, sports-related organizations and institution/organizations in the organization of courses or activities of educational and training nature; and
4. To make available the facilities and services of Olympic House for use by the public.
