Hong Kong Olympic Fan Club (HKOFC), a subsidiary of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), actively promotes the public’s interest in sports and collaborates with schools, enterprises and charitable organizations. Through a wide range of sports experiences, sharing and volunteer activities, HKOFC aims to integrate the Olympic spirit of solidarity and mutual respect into daily life for building a harmonious community.

Passing The Torch On

“Passing The Torch On” programme (the Programme) of HKOFC leverages on the perseverance of athletes and the Olympic spirit to encourage young people to strive for self-improvement when facing adversity. Subsidized by “HYAB Funding Scheme for Youth Positive Thinking Activities (2023-25)” launched by the HKSAR Government, the Programme offers a variety of sports-themed activities to encourage participants, aged between 12 and 25, to develop their potential.

The Programme was launched in January 2024 and completed on 30 June 2025. During the period, more than 30 activities were organized, including athlete sharing sessions, in-depth tours to sports facilities, urban sports classes, mentorship programme, community ambassador trainings, volunteer services and a large-scale fun day, attracting more than 1,000 youth to participate in the Programme and injecting unlimited positive energy into it. In addition, more than 50 current/retired Team HKG athletes supported and participated in the Programme as instructors and speakers so that they could personally pass on the positive thinking to the participants.
