2020 Olympic Day – Stay Active and BINGO!
2020-10-16
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the world into lockdown and the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, International Olympic Committee (IOC) subsequently launched the #StayStrong, #StayActive, #StayHealthy campaign on 23 June 2020, which gathered the Olympians together for the annual celebration of sport and Olympic values by creating the world’s largest 24 hour digital-first Olympic workout. In support of this movement, the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (the Federation) now launches a series of celebration activities today, including the BINGO Challenges on our FACEBOOK Page and the Olympic Day panel exhibition in shopping malls.

BINGO Challenges
In view of the worldwide development of COVID-19, the Federation has decided to cancel the Olympic Day Fun Run in June but moved the celebration of 2020 Olympic Day to online in October. Supported by the National Sports Associations and athletes, nine sports-related challenges were selected and filmed to teach the public how to “play” sports even at home! Public are invited to take part in this “BINGO Challenges” and will have opportunities to win event T-shirts and prizes.
